Is there a particular reason why it's ONLY offered in Max? I'm a Maya user and I have 0 grasp on Max, nor do I have the money to be affording a Max license at this time. Would it be at all possible to transfer over the functionality of WW to Maya or any other modeling package?

Thank you for your question.

What you must understand is that WW is a project that has been going on for 9 years that was largely driven by my own projects/needs. I'm a Max user, this is why WW was developed in Max. There is not any time or incentive for me to develop in other apps. It would take me too much time and have no payoff for my time.

If you are a student or hobbyist, look at the EDU version of Max.

You can also get 3ds Max Indie for a very low price now.
