Was intended to be a simple deathmatch map with geometry which would be difficult/impossible to produce in hammer, unfortunately I ran out of time.
There is what was finally intended to be an oval shaped, multi level building in the centre surrounded by a road that slopes upwards on 1 side and steps on the otherside.
Most of the action was intended to be based around the centre building with some enterable buildings along the slope up the road.
There are temporary lights and buildings by the sides of the road for prototyping
I managed to complete the hard parts, the sloped road and stairs using corvex and curves
Unfortunately invalid geometry problems and a lack of time hampered my progress.
Also ran out of time to add windows
I know this isn't a valid entry as its unfinished, just posting it out of respect.
Unfortunately I didn't get any detailing done in time so its all basic geometry
You don't have to make the Max file public unless you want... If not, just link me to it in email. But the game files need to be public.
Can you share some info on the geometry problems you were encountering?
Here is the bsp... hopefully I packed it properly, its embarassing but yeah, didn't have time to get round to detailing it and the entire thing is within a box to prevent leaks as I hadn't got round to sealing it yet

The geometry problems I mentioned were brushes that simply crashed the map on startup which I had to go to hammer to find then go back to ww to delete them
There are very fews spawns on the map as they are simply there to help testing
Looks like the Materials/Textures are missing. Might need to PAK them again or put them into the zip file.
Oh balls I'll just re-pak them manually

Fingers crossed it works...
Ooooh, it's nice seeing an attempt at rounded structures in Source. It can still be tough getting the engine to swallow it, but actually building something like this would probably make Hammer users cry and beg for mercy.
Contest or none, keep it up!
Quite a nice layout you got here, you should keep working on this, would be nice to see :D
