There may be a bug in the current build. I'll look into it.

If you update WW, this bug should be gone. Let me know if you have any other issues.

Your best method is to do this:

1) Click the Import Prop Library from VMF button in VMF importer dialog and choose VMF
2) Click File > New (clear out scene)
3) Open VMF importer, click Import Props checkbox, then import VMF file

That will generally work fastest. If not, it can take longer and appear to freeze Max. Not certain yet on why it takes so long if you don't do it in that order. With this method, all the props are saved to separate Max files and WW will use XRef objects of each when importing the props into the scene.

Apologies for bumping an old thread but I'm having a related issue. When trying to import the new version of de_nuke, Max encounters a runtime error here (https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/25314517/nuke_import.jpg).

I have previously imported the old version of Nuke with no issues. Could this be caused by the updated texture format? I'm using WW Pro tools.

Actually, the error you see is most likely that WW Pro is not installed correctly. Please see this thread: http://www.wallworm.net/index.php/topic,1293.0.html

If that doesn't fix the error, it probably means that WW Pro DLL Files are not properly unblocked or the the VTFLib.dll files were not installed. In that case, please make sure to read the WW Pro README text file in the WW Pro download.

Hey Wallworm thanks for the help. So after manually configuring the system path, unblocking and reinstalling WW tools and making sure VTFLib was properly installed, I still get the runtime error on the same vtf.

Is there anything else I can try? Was really hoping to do some renders with the new Nuke.

Can you email the VTF to me? My email is in the WW Readme.

Did you have any luck with the files I sent?

Sorry, I forgot to respond. I tested that VTF and it works fine for me. It seems that WW Pro may still not be set up correctly. Can you verify that VTF is installed properly by opening Slate and creating a Bitmap node... then browsing for any VTF file. If it doesn't load, it likely means there is still a problem with the WW Pro installation (missing files, blocked files).
