Title: Texture Axis - Explanation needed

I don't understand the documentation on the valvedev wiki at all (https://developer.valvesoftware.com/wiki/VMF_documentation:_World_Class#U.2FV_Axis). Unfortunately an announced edit (http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showpost.php?p=29509967&postcount=13) never happened.

I think a visualization would help me (and however few others there might be) a lot.

That good old one. It took me a couple years to wrap my mind around that one, with a lot of help from @Andrax2000 .

The information posted in that thread by zombie@computer is really all there is too it. It just took me a long time to understand what is going on it, probably because linear algebra was alien to me when I started all this.
