Title: Dear Esther Moving to Unity
Post by: wallworm on February 14, 2014, 08:25:38 PM
As some of you may know, I was hired a few months ago to add some features to Wall Worm by Robert Briscoe. Many people asked me what new project he is working on, but I couldn't talk about it. But now Rob has spilled the beans. Here is a Rob's talk about why he's considering moving to Unity (http://www.littlelostpoly.co.uk/dear-esther-and-unity/).

Rob wrote a new article on how he is porting Dear Esther to Unity. He talks nicely about Wall Worm (http://www.littlelostpoly.co.uk/dear-esther-unity-how/).

@RobertBriscoe  (https://twitter.com/RobertBriscoe) posted some new screen shots of the foliage in Dear Esther in Unity. Helping optimize what he's working on in transferring detail props to Unity was the gist of the recent updates to the VBSP tools in WW.
