Error exporting to MDL
« on: April 27, 2017, 08:42:41 AM »
Hi,

I'm wondering if anyone can please help me with my problem?
I can export the QC files etc, but then the batch file comes up with an error.
I have no idea why this is happening, I used wall worm before and never had this problem.

Thanks in advance.

In WWMT UI, click the QC button to open your QC. Copy and paste entire QC here.

Thanks for taking your time look into it,
but it happens no matter what I make.

I have just been trying to test it on a cube with a texture on it.
The same thing happens no matter what the object is.
I'm using 3d Max 12 if that makes any difference.

The most likely problem is that you haven't installed the service packs. Max 2012 had a major flaw that locked files written by MAXScript. Install SP 12 (I think that was latest SP for Max 2012).

Also, you can find some common solutions by click Wall Worm > Wall Worm Utilities > Problem Checker and check all the Max Version and WW options.

Success!

Thank you! Yes it was that it needed service packs 1 & 2.
As soon as I installed them it worked without any problem.

Thank you so much, you've saved the day!  ;)
